RWY 23 Left hand:
On departure, maintain runway track until 800FT AGL or just west
of Hadliegh which comes last before turning left.
On downwind leg, track S of Hadleigh, parallel to runway, between
Wolves and Hintlesham woods;
Turn 1/2nm before power lines, which run parallel to base leg.
On base leg, aim to the left of Middle Wood, avoiding No Fly zone.
Turn onto finals as late as possible to avoid houses and farms to NE of Elmsett.
RWY 05 Right hand:
On departure, maintain runway track until 800FT, AGL or 1.5NM
whichever occurs last before turning right;.
Turn from crosswind onto downwind well after Park Wood (which contains a scrapyard).
On downwind, track S of Hadleigh, and turn onto base when clear of town.
Turn onto finals just West of Hadleigh.
Joining:
Due to overlap with Wattisham ATZ and MATZ, joins are via Raydon or Copdock VRPs unless
otherwise instructed (not above 800' agl).
From Raydon VRP, pilots should route onto right base for 05 (around Hadleigh), or onto downwind leg for 23.
From Copdock VRP, join downwind for 05, or via Sub Station (2nm on track 330°M from Copdock VRP) for 23.
